Cobwebs, Crows & Pumpkins
Floral Designer Lynne Woods is a master of delightful vignettes for Halloween.

Mantles & Coffee Tables are perfect places for a display
Cobwebs embroidered in white on a black table runner. Layers of Halloween decor sprinkled throughout the living room.

A perfectly balanced arrangement
Original ideas of Lynne’s such as a framed black and white photo of witches on the mantle as tho’ they were relatives, a snowglobe and a skull elevated atop of a candleholder. Note the triangle Lynne created by using items of varying heights.

Close up of branch decor
Go BIG — take one large, fantastic vase, fill with beautiful branches and hang or nestle autumn inspired and Halloween ornamentation.

A unique countertop display
For interest, a variety of elements is important in any display, but for it to be cohesive, repetition of some factors has great impact. Colour (orange and black of course), crows and pumpkins are in almost each vignette… but then this Italian vase is unexpected, yet you find only one skull. Choose what is repeated, choose what is unexpected and choose what mood you are creating. These displays are whimsical, easily a scarier mood could be achieved by changing the mix of elements.

Look for unexpected places such as the chandelier to add decor

A special thank you to Lynne Woods for her talent, inspiration and visual delights for this post.

Original ideas like Lynne's witches hat & broom parked in the entrance hall inspire.
Halloween decorating has grown immensely over the last few years and is second only Christmas.
