I visited the Temple during the Richmond Open Doors weekend… I had driven by many times and seen the huge golden Buddha thru the windows at night.  There was an event going on so was not able to see the 15′ Gilded Buddha quite as hoped, but was given a lovely tour by a young university student who has been going to the temple with her family since a young child.

Located on the “Highway to Heaven” on No 5 Road Richmond (known as such for the different religions located side by side on the same road – unusual in many parts of the world – but here in Canada.
